Wisconsin Links
Dubuque Flyfishers is my local group. We are only recently formed. We have many fledgling fishers.
I also belong to the Hawkeye Fly Fishers Association. They have a wonderful annual meeting which the Dubuque group hosted in 1998.
The Wisconsin Fly Fishing Home Page has a host of information on Wisconsin and FFing in general.
Clay Riness is a guide, speaker, Orvis rep, and folk singer. He has the Rocking Trout web site.
The West Fork Sportsman's Club is one of the most outstanding groups in WI stream restoration. Look elsewhere on this site for information on what they have done.
Of coarse there is always the WDNR.
One WI TU chapter has a lot of information.
Then there is my local TU Chapter, Harry and Laura Nohr.
For more SWWI trout information see Tod'''s Site
For sites in my area, see the listing on the Fennimore page.
A notable guide for musky is Bill Shere. He runs the WE Tie It shop. He's out of Boulder Junction.
Two well know FFs from Wisconsin are Gary and Jason Borger. Jason, of course, is the son and shadow caster from "A River Runs Through It.
One of our local guides Is the Jacquish Hollow Angler.

Notable Sites in the Midwest
Midwest Flytyer is a great web-zine with interesting articles and contests. Mike Hogue has a Midwest Fly Tyer, a commercial site with many good fly tying patterns. Mike also hosts the HFFA pages. Mike is in Des Moines, IA.
There is also a commercial magazine that covers the Midwest. Midwest Fly Fishing can be found at almost every winter and spring show. They support many of the club programs.
For Iowa information visit the Trout Kid. A young man just getting started in FFing. His site led me to the Iowa DEQ's site on trout streams.

Exceptional National Sites
Small Streams fits WI as well as it does the SW. A must visit for every small-rod small-stream fanatic.
Kilroy is more than here in this tying site. Not just tying , it has interesting fishing articles and very vivid graphics.
FF@ is a flyfishing list and has a home page full of facts and other interesting things. During the year other than summer there can be close to 200 messages a day. You definitely need to know how to use the D key, but it is worth it with all the outstanding information that is available.
The Virtual Flyshop is run by the people from Flyfisherman magazine. This is one site you can not miss.
Then there is Fly Anglers On Line. It probably hs more information than any other site on fly fishing.
