Caster can speak with the spirit of a deceased individual, if
that individual hasn't been raised or the spirit destroyed.. |
Divination (Lesson)
Every four points pumped into this Lesson generates one Game Lore
Question answer. Each answer beyond the first costs a cumulative 4
more spell points. (Thus, it goes 4 spell points for the first, 8
additional spell points for the second, 12 additional spell points
for the third, and so on.). |
Living Wood (Lesson)
Character can make a wooden weapon (club, staff), swing for Magic
damage.

Death Faint (Talent)
Once per day, the character can simulate death, for a period of
up to 5 minutes. Character can't be created as a zombie, or
animated as a corpse. If raised, the death faint is dispelled. |
Resistance (Talent)
Character gains one smart spell resist per game day. |
Living off the Land (Talent)
Character's base maintenance is covered for free. No additional
levels may be purchased. |
Aid (Lesson)
Gives 3 additional production points to a shop. Requires an iron
gear worth 5 CP.

Creates a 20'x20' area where deceased individuals cannot be

Crafter (Talent)
Character can act as having Rank 5 in any one craft, chosen at
the start of the game day. If used with an existing skill,
generates 5 additional production points, but no Ranks. |

The Dead Travel Quick (Talent)
Once per day, the character may call a "Hold", move up
to 15 paces, and resume game. Character can only go to places they
could reach by normal means. |
Sanctuary (Talent)
Once per day, the character can construct a 10'x10' area that no
hostile damage or spells can penetrate. It lasts for 10 minutes. |
Blend (Talent)
Target can hide and be undetectable while in a natural setting.
There's a 15 second delay from breaking this concealment before
spellcasting or attacks can be swung. |
Magical Knack (Talent)
Can produce one item of Alchemy, Enchanting, or Scrollcraft,
requiring Rank 9 or less to make. Can only make one sample per
game day, must obey all restrictions. If using Scrollcraft, must
use Way of Creation spells. |

can ignore damage for the purposes of casting spells. |
Cheating Death (Lesson)
Resurrection. Costs the subject a life level. |
Shining Armor (Lesson)

silver steel is used. Requires a silver shield worth 3 SS per
casting, or 3 oz of Silver Steel.

(unconscious). |
Major Resistance (Talent)
Character gains a second smart resist versus spells. This talent
is cumulative with the Rank 3 Talent. |
Aspect of the Bear (Lesson)
Character gains 2 DR for the entire game day. Requires a bear
pelt.

Death Commitment (Talent)
Character ignores effects of damage for 5 minutes. If they reach
0 hit points, they die instantly when the 5 minutes are up. The
character may not be healed while this talent is active. |
Blessings of Light (Lesson)
Target gains one special resist, one generic resist, and 4
non-reparable armor. Cost varies on the number of people being
cast on, at 10 for the base casting, plus 4 for every person
blessed.

Standing Magic Field (Lesson)
Makes an item a magic +1 item for the entire day. Item so imbued
is destroyed at the end of the game day. Requires a magic item to
imbue from.

rather than "Damage". Works against weapons, shields.
Requires ivory rod worth 10 SS. |
Vampiric Empathy (Lesson)
Character calls 4 no defense in combat. Damage done to the
character with melee weapons heals the character instead.. |
Aura of Light
For 10 minutes the character will have 5 resists as per the Rank
4 spell, and DR 5.
