BADGER ORIENTEERING SCHEDULE

Note: Most areas require a State Park sticker. Most events offer two courses, a long and a short course. The long course is technically more difficult in most cases, as well as longer. Directions to the parks are below the schedule on this page.

Directions

Blue Mound SP Blue Mounds, WI Take I-90 to Madison. Take Hwy 18 west about 25 miles to F. Take F north to ID. Take west into Blue Mounds, WI. Follow signs to park.
Bong SRA Burlington, WI Take I-94 to Kenosha, WI. Exit at hwy 142(Burlington Rd.) and go west to the park.
Cat's Meow/Cat's Agenda Greenbush, WI Greenbush is between Fond du Lac and Sheboygan just off of Hwy 23. From Hwy 23 take Hwy A into Greenbush. At the center of Greenbush get on Hwy T going south. When the road forks about 1 mile out of town go left on Kettle Moraine Dr. Watch for signs. There are a couple of parking areas just off of Kettle Moraine Dr. about .5 mile up the road.
Cat's Pajamas Greenbush, WI Greenbush is between Fond du Lac and Sheboygan just off of Hwy 23. From Hwy 23 take Hwy A into Greenbush. At the center of Greenbush get on Hwy T going south. When the road forks about 1 mile out of town go left on Kettle Moraine Dr. Go south until you reach the powerline. About 600 meters past the powerline is the Greenbush Kettle parking area. This is a little over 1 mile south of the parking lots we use for Cat's Agenda and Cat's Meow.
Devil's Lake SP Baraboo, WI Take I-90/94 to Hwy 12. Take Hwy 12 east to Hwy 159. Then go east to park entrance. Meets may start off Hwy DL on the north end of the park, or the north or south end of the lake. Watch for the orange and white signs. If you don't see signs at the north entrance procede to the south end of the lake and watch for signs on South Shore Dr.
Eagle Heights, Picnic Point Madison, WI Take University Ave. in Madison to Univ. Bay Dr. Go north. Take Lake Mendota Dr. north and follow signs.
Elver Park Madison, WI Take 12/18 to west side of Madison. Exit on Gammon Rd. Go south about 1/2 mile to park.
Glacial Blue Hills West Bend, WI Take U.S. 45 to West Bend, WI. Take the Hwy D exit, which is about 2 miles north of Hwy 33 and Hwy 45 junction. Go about 1 mile west(left) on Hwy D to Wildwood Rd. Go a short distance south on Wildwood Rd.(left) to Beaver Dam Road. Go 1 mile east(left) on Beaver Dam Road to the park, which is on the north side of Beaver Dam Road and just west and alongside of Hwy 45.
Goose Lake Deerfield, WI Take I-94 to Deerfield, 15 miles east of Madison. Take hwy. 73 south to BB. Go east and follow signs.
Gov. Dodge SP Dodgeville, WI Take hwy. 18 west to Dodgeville. Follow signs to state park.
Gov. Nelson SP Middleton, WI Take I-94 north of Madison to hwy. 19. Go west to hwy. Go south to cty. M. Go west to park.
Hepcat N. Kettle Moraine SF Greenbush, WI Take Hwy 23 east from Fond du lac, WI or west from Sheboygan, WI. Go to Plank Rd. and follow signs. Plank Rd. is near Greenbush, WI and there is an historic building at the intersection.
Indian Lake County Park Mazomanie Take I-94 north of madison to hwy 19. Go west to park.
Kellings Lake SF Dundee,WI Take Hwy 45 north past West Bend to Hwy 67. Go east on 67 to Dundee. Take F east out of Dundee to Division Rd(about 1 mile). This road may not be signed. Follow it south. After a short distance it will be gravel. Follow it past the 90 degree bend to start area. If you continue on F to A, you have missed the turn. Then take A south until it turns right(west). Then continue on A west to start area. A will turn left before the mapped area, but you should continue going straight(west). You will be given a trophy upon finding the start area.
Lake Kegonsa SP Stoughton, WI Take I-94 to hwy N. Go south to Koshkonong Rd. Go west to Door Creek Rd. Go south to park.
Lapham Peak SP Delafield, WI Take I-94 to hwy C near Delafield. Go south one mile to park.
Ottawa Trails, S. Kettle Moraine Dousman, WI Take I-94 to Oconomowoc. Go south on 67. Go east on ZZ 2.5K to parking area called Ottawa Trails
Magnolia Bluff County Park Evansville, WI Take I-94 to hwy 14 in Janesville. Go west to hwy 59 in Evansville. Go west to Croak Road. Go south less than one mile to park entrance.
Mirror Lake State Park Lake Delton, WI Take I-94 north to Hwy 12. Hwy 12 east(south/left) a 1/2 mile to Fern Dell Rd. Turn right/east and proceded about 1.5 miles to the park.
Mauthe Lake SP New Fane, WI Take I-94 to Hwy 45 in Milwaukee. Go north to Hwy 28 at Kewaskum. Go east to hwy S. Go north to GGG. Go north to Mauthe Lake entrance(about one mile).
Wildcat Mound, Black River State Forest Millston, WI Take I-94 west Millston. Go right(east) on hwy "O" about .5 miles to Settlement Rd. Turn left and drive 4-5 miles. Turn left on to Shale Rd. Follow signs to the start area.
