1. Who is Cobzweb? How long have you been around? Three brothers, Dave, Dennis, Darren, Jammin as "Cobzweb" for about 8 years.
2. What are the disadvatages/ advatages of being brothers with the other guys in Cobzweb? You know what the other brother is thinking.
3. Is there a history of musical talent in your family (a larger "Cobzweb" so to speak)? Our uncle Tom Cobb has been a guitarist for years and our grandfather was said to be able to play any instrument, yet never had any music lessons in his life.
4. Please describe to us your style of music and what influences it. Is there any specific message that you are attempting to spread with your music? Our style has been described as "Big Heavy / Metal Fusion", Our style has been influenced by everything we have ever been exposed to. And the message is just "Rock On Forever" , Ya know?
5. What merchandise do you have available to those who are interested? Right now CD's are available, but no merchandise at this time.
6. Does your years of playing shows and gigs seem to get boring or repetitive or do is there a uniqueness to each show? Every show, is a new show. I don't think It will get boring. You learn something different each time and try to improve on it.
7. What is your viewpoint on the local music scene in Madison, WI and the support of it? I think the local scene is really diverse and that's great. There are a lot of different kinds of talent in this area, Local support has been very strong as well. This helps everyone...
8. How is your exposure in other states and areas of the USA? Have you been offered any gigs outside of Wisconsin? Any national exposure we have recieved has been from friends around the country, Whom have turned other people on to our music. We have been offered other gigs around the midwest.
9. I have checked out your website and found it to be very cool. How do you think having a webpage has helped the band? Do you think that is the future for underground bands? This question also relates to the previous one, Our web-page has generated a lot of positive feedback from around the country.
